After sending mom over to aunt's place at close to 4am, came home and instead of watching football, I ended up digging for more manga to download.
And today, less than ten hours away from results being posted onlinewhich I won't be checking lalala I decided to read whatever I downloaded early this morning.
Giglio was just...okay. Casualties of the war and I didn't really see much plot in it, just porn /shrugs
Sabakareshi Mono puzzled me. It had so much potential but it turned corny in the end orz.
Then there was Kimi no Kao ni Sasu Kage where the plot amused me and confused Risu; and this one made me cry halfway through. As expected, after Katou introduces Miwa to that gay friend of his - Hashina, who made his moves on Miwa, Katou started having second thoughts, and was all afraid that Miwa wasn't looking at him anymore and has moved on. Well wth did you expect asshole, you pushed him away first. You expect him to be pinning over you forever? So I thought Miwa would end up with Hashina, but one part while they were screwing in the library, Hashina sets up Katou to come by the library and ended up witnessing it. Katou told Hashina to leave, and said he needed to talk to Miwa, and that it was the last time so there was nothing to worry. Hashina left, thinking that Katou wouldn't pull anything. But instead, Katou rapes Miwa and tells him to forget about him, that the Katou he fell in love with was no longer here. Hashina freaked when he came back after Katou left, shocked with what Katou did, thinking that Katou would not embrace Miwa at all after he did.
Since then, for a whole month, Katou was absent from school and no one knew what happened to him. During that month, Hashina and Miwa's relationship strained and Hashina understood that Miwa still loved Katou. And not long before that incident, Katou had admitted to Hashina that he too loved Miwa but was too freaked out when Miwa confessed to him. Afraid, he pushed Miwa towards Hashina.
Hashina decides to visit Katou, and finds out that he's blind and deaf. He was not physically hurt, but psychologically. The next day, Hashina tells Miwa about his visit to Katou's and told Miwa that if he was curious about Katou he should go visit him himself. He also tells Miwa that Katou liked him back so their love was mutual. Then one day, Miwa finally gathers the courage to see Katou and drops by his house, and Hashina appeared. Shocked, Miwa asked what was he doing here. Hashina said that he was waiting for Miwa for the past few days outside Katou's house, seeing when would he show up; and if Miwa finally does show up, he'd tell himself to let Miwa go.

I can't even type out the rest bah. But the ending didn't go my way. The last time I read something with a similar plot, the rebound guy won the uke, and the guy who let go of the uke lost even though he realised that he returned the uke's feelings but it was too late. BUT NOT THIS ONE orz. dkdgjdsllklkjlkdgjlkjlkj
I think I started crying when Katou raped Miwa orz.
Anyways, Kimi no Koe ga Kikitai was worth the mindfuck I'm so glad I downloaded the raw anyway.
The first story aka the title was about a singer who injured his throat who meets a mute guy in the hospital where they're both receiving treatment. The doctor is actually said mute guy's brother, and it seems that the guy lost his voice because he was traumatized by their father murdering their mother and then killing himself in front of him. Singer and mute guy are attracted to each other, but nothing happens, until the singer accidentally saw mute guy and his brother having sex. Then singer tells mute guy to do it with him too. After that, the singer checks out of the hospital but went to look for the mute guy one day, and wanted him to forget bout what they did--and just as the brother appeared, the singer thought he heard mute guy say ワスレテ and concluded that it was for the best.
The next day, the singer receives a silent phone call one day from the hospital, and thinking it was the mute guy, he rushed over to the hospital. But when he got there, he gets hit over the head and loses consciousness. Over at the studio, mute guy comes by to look for the singer but the manager tells him that the singer left in a hurry. ああ。すれ違った。
Back at the hospital, singer was tied up, and a very crazy looking doctor aka mute guy's brother was holding a scalpel and staring at him. He tells singer dude that his family tragedy was waaay more dramatic than what he told him earlier. It was actually him who murdered his parents. and suddenly, singer dude realised that mute guy was saying タスケテ instead of ワスレテ. Mute guy shows up in time and yells at his brother to stop~and from there. Happy ending ka na8D
Second story Castrato was about two boys who were in their church choir group, and one day the older of the two boys - Kyogo was devastated that his voice changed due to maturity, and was lamenting about it to the younger one - Sei. And Sei took a knife and castrated himself. Fast forward 9 years later, Sei is a famous singer, famed for his high vocal range. But of course rumours flew that he could do so because he wasn't a real man. At a party in Japan, he and Kyogo meet again. Kyogo is now engaged and Sei was disgusted at how common he had become. Stuff happens and they got to know each other again better, and Kyogo convinced Sei to stay in Japan to be with him. He then went and break off his engagement, calming telling the fiancee that he was in love with Sei. Ticked off, the fiancee went to look for Sei to confront him, and told him that she had thoroughly lost Kyogo to him, which was why she would take his voice in return. In that split second, she took out a knife and slashed Sei's throat---and
the last thoughts of Sei as he collapsed was how he could no longer sing, but he did not feel afraid, because Kyogo had healed his wounds..

Last story The Two Princes was about a spoiled prince who was in the streets one day, and came across a peasant. The peasant did not catch his eye at first but he later noticed that the peasant looked exactly like him and decided to bring him back to the palace. The prince dressed the peasant up, gave him a bath and forced him to obey him. Just for fun, the prince made the peasant dress up like him to attend the court the next day, and the decisions the peasant made that day was so far-fetched from the ones that the usually cruel and heartless prince made that it shocked the officials. The prince was amused at this and laughed as he recalled the utter look of disbelief on the officials' faces when the 'prince' had given his commands. The peasant pleads the prince to let him go, but instead the prince tells him that he would be attending a ball in his place the next day while the prince himself dressed up as a peasant went out to the streets. The peasant attended the ball and was awkward as almost all the ladies ignored him, knowing that the prince was too arrogant to be around anyway. But one yong lady approached him and asked him to dance. Startled, the peasant complied and was a gentleman the whole night, leaving a surprisingly wonderful impression for the young lady. Meanwhile in the streets, the prince went around and asked what the people thought about the prince. But the replies and comments he got angered him and he attacked the group of people injuring or perhaps killing them. Not long, guards came and dragged him away and threw the prince into jail before his servantor what do I call him came to pick him up. Aggravated, the prince vows to raise taxes on the poor even more and heads off for every petty theft. And then, the young lady who at the ball came to see the prince to thank him for the wonderful night last night and although the prince who was normally beautiful on the outside but ugly on the inside, had proved her wrong last night. Extra pissed off, the prince captures the peasant and whips him, but all the peasant ever said was to beg the prince to let him go, but the prince says that he would execute him in public. Later on, the prince returns to see the peasant, much calmer this time, and carressed his wounds like a lover. The prince tells the peasant that there was one last thing he wants him to do, and then he'll let him go. The prince wanted the peasant to embrace him, one last time. But instead the peasant tells the prince although you cannot become me, I can become you and a scream. Seconds later, the prince's servant rushes in and the prince panics and claims that he killed the peasant cuz he attacked him and that he had no choice to defend himself. However, the servant noticed the ligature marks on the prince's wrists and realised what had happened. ENDING LINE FTW
